Welcome to the archive of the Teacher and Technology course in the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba.

 

The course is designed to provide prospective teachers with resources and ideas to use technology well in their classroom. These resources are developed in concert with some of the big ideas around tech in education: technical bias, environmental concerns, AI and other assistive technologies, impact of social media, assessment, connections to Indigenous thought, use of games, and expanded digital literacy.

 

The notes include the RWLs. RWLs are the 'readings' for the course and stand for Read, Watch and Listen (and Play for games). They will likely need updating and link-checking if you plan to use them.
